Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent provider in our network. This is a local remodeling business. It is not Writehis Remodeling. The provider does the planning, the quote, and the work.

We do not list staff or team members here. The people who matter to your project are the ones at the provider you choose.

What Happens on the Call

The first talk is short and simple. Expect questions like these:

• What room are you remodeling?
• What do you want changed?
• Is it a tub or shower conversion, a walk-in shower, or a full gut?
• How old is the home?

The provider may then offer a visit to measure and look around. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing varies. Request a callback to check provider availability.

It helps to have a few photos of the room and a rough idea of your budget ready. Notes about what bothers you most can also guide the talk.

What to Ask a Provider

Bring a short list. These questions help you compare:

• Can I get a written quote with all costs listed?
• What is not in the price?
• Who handles permits?
• Are you licensed and insured? Can I see proof?
• Do you use your own workers or hire others?
• How long will the job take, and what could slow it?
• What happens if you find damage behind the walls?
• How do payments work?

In an older home, ask about pipes, floors, and old wiring. Cold climates can leave hidden rot or moisture, so ask how they check for it.

You Are in Control

You can talk to several providers. You can say no. You can take days to think. A fair provider will not push you.

Lay the quotes next to each other. Compare the scope, the materials, and the timeline, not just the price. A very low quote may leave things out. Typical U.S. costs vary a lot by job, so get a written quote.
